Back on "Schedule" with NaNoWriMo
3,179 is the count so far. I am hoping I can keep up the pace. Does it get easier or more difficult? Will I get into some groove? I hope so.

Hi Sioux - Keep writing!
ReplyDeleteJust me again. If you want to be a writing buddy on the NaNo site just look me up! I used my whole name, so I'm easy to find. :)
ReplyDeleteOkay, now I know what the acronym means. Congrats on the word count so far! Sounds like fun, and for me (I've written two novels; one published), fun was the key. In both cases, I wrote the novel I wanted to read, and because I wasn't sure of every twist and turn ahead, I would approach each session excited to see what would unfold. Surrender to the process and have a great time with it! It will undoubtedly get easier as you proceed, because with each session, you'll get to know your characters better.
ReplyDeletewrite on!!! I really liked Katie's comment - the key is to enjoy the process and to let it flow; don't force it and your mojo* will dictate the words!
ReplyDelete*muse, inner writer, creativity, you know, the je ne se qua that moves our fingers sometimes thru unexpected routes ;)
