Lynn Obermoeller got this award, and then passed on the award to some of her blogging friends, which ended up being all of my blogging friends, so I'm going to have to find some strangers on the street to give this award to. (Thank you, Lynn.)
The Rules:
- Thank the Super Sweet Blogger that nominated you.
- Answer five Super Sweet questions.
- Include the Super Sweet Blogging award image in your blog post.
- Nominate a baker’s dozen (13) other bloggers.
- Notify your nominees on their blog.
The 5 Super Sweet Questions:
- Cookies or Cake? – Cake, with lots of frosting.
- Chocolate or Vanilla? – You mean there's another flavor besides chocolate? Are you sure?
- Favorite Sweet Treat? – I have many favorites. Fudge. Chocolate nut heaps (a family recipe cookie). Ted Drewes' hot fudge macadamia sundae. I could go on and on and on...
- When do you crave sweet things the most? – I am an equal opportunity addict. I eat to celebrate, I eat to wallow. I eat when I'm bored, I eat when I'm stressed. It's always dessert time somewhere in the world...
- Sweet Nick Name? – Suzy-Q, which coincidentally is the name of a chocolate, cream-filled snack cake...
Okay, I can count, but I couldn't stand on the street corner any longer in order to get 13 names of bloggers. The police kept circling around, thinking I was hooking for dry-erase markers, so I am a little shy of a "baker's dozen," but here goes:
Why thanks, that was very, er, sweet of you!
ReplyDeleteShay--Yeah, I know. Sorry. You could always write an epic poem about desserts...
DeleteSadly, I love sweets way too much. Of course you can probably tell that fact just by looking at me.

Critter Alley
Me, too, Pat. I always laugh when a group of friends are going out to lunch/dinner and I'm asked if I like Italian food or Mexican food or Chinese food. After all, I have the type of body that embraces ALL kinds of food. ;)
DeleteI was going to comment earlier, but I went blind for an hour or two from trying to read the fine print. After retinal regeneration, lasik surgery, and a lot of blinking, I see from my own comment section that your are entering litigation to usurp my sweet nickname. That leaves a bitter taste in my mouth, Madam. I think you should drop this name business and stick to interneticizing your familial nut heaps.
ReplyDeleteVal-Are you callin' my family nuts? Are you talkin' to me? Are you talkin' to me?
DeleteWhat a "sweet" treat to be included! Much thanks, Sioux.
ReplyDeleteJennifer--I am so glad Linda got me turned onto you.
DeleteYou're welcome.
Yum! What a sweet post.
ReplyDeleteDonna-And these are the ONLY cupcakes I have found to be inedible... ;)
DeleteThose cupcakes look delicious. I was thinking we were going to get a recipe for those. . . :) But it's always good to share blogging love.
ReplyDeleteMargo--They DO look delectable, but sometimes that bright-colored frosting stains our teeth, and the cupcakes are packed with calories, and...Well, I'm lucky these aren't real baked treats.
DeleteIt was great to hear you speak at St. Louis Writers' Guild. I learned a lot from the panel. Thanks for coming...
Thanks for playing along... mmm now for a sweet to eat...
ReplyDeleteLynn--Thanks for including me.
DeleteThanks! Now I have to think about my answers. :) And I eat like you do . . . for pretty much everything! It's called comfort food for a reason.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome. And that's for sure, Lisa. All that "comfort food" makes us comfortable, with all the extra padding it puts on us.
