Okay, these are the things I am still "into":
- Sons of Anarchy (a show on FX that I love and is in its final season...it will take its final breaths this summer or fall, I believe. Think "The Sopranos" on motorcycles.)
- teaching (I still enjoy my job.)
- Crocs (however, one of my pairs--"Blackie"--is going to be autopsied soon, on April 24. Bring your own flower petals.)
- honesty (I got some initial feedback on my NaNo/manu, and even though no one has gotten to the end yet, they are suggesting segues. Are those really necessary? They also say I probably need to change my point of view, which will result in more snark. No one has ever asked for more snark from me. I love it.)
- a great writing critique group (Just about every piece of writing I submit has been critiqued by four gifted writers. They each bring a different perspective, they each have their unique strengths, but they're all strong and fierce.)
I don't know what I'm supposed to be "waiting" for, but it's not working on my end. :-(
ReplyDeleteI'm really into drawing these days---as if you couldn't tell. It's kind of overtaking the ole letter writing that I'm also into. :-)
OMG! Lynn is like, not writing letters as much and like, we're all getting a reprieve!
DeleteSnark, like cowbell in a Blue Oyster Cult song, can never be under-represented. You need a line of T-shirts: More Snark.
ReplyDeleteVal--Now if I could ring a cowbell while I served up dollops of snark, I could open up a restaurant...
DeleteI'm into "Resurrection". It's the first regular network tv show I've liked in ages.
ReplyDeleteShay--I loved the trailers, and then didn't watch the beginning episodes. I need to go online and watch it from the beginning. It DOES seem like an interesting premise (some good actors involved as well).
DeleteSo, does it get at least 4 thumbs up?
I'm into Blacklist. I adore James Spader!
ReplyDeleteMZ--Me, too. I loved him in "Boston Public" as well.
DeleteI am still into going to the movie theater to watch a movie. I don't get to go that often, but this winter it seemed like a particularly fun way to escape the cold and snow!
ReplyDeleteMary--I saw several movies this fall and winter. My top movie theater pick that I enjoyed in the theater not that long ago--"12 Years a Slave." It was heart-wrenching and often difficult to watch, but wonderfully acted. And the fact that it was a true story made it all the more moving...
DeleteI'm into "The Voice." I don't care if Adam is young enough to be my son, a good fantasy is a good fantasy. :) I'm also into gardening -- getting those summer veggies planted -- and reading, reading, reading.
ReplyDeleteJayne--I agree. I could have spawned Adam Levine, but I did not, so he's fair game. ;)
DeleteI'm still into cheesy old sitcoms from the 50's and 60's. Heaven help me, but they still can make me laugh after a lousy day.

Critter Alley
Pat--Me, too. The Andy Griffith Show and I Love Lucy are ones I still love to watch.
