NaBloPoMo
I was a weenie when it came to NaNoWriMo; I lasted a few days, found out I really did not have a story to write, and surrendered.
However, I think I can accept this simpler challenge, and even succeed.
The idea is to post on your blog every day during the month of December.
Some of you bloggers post several times a day. Perhaps you could hold off, and save one as a draft, so you can post it the next day?
There are quite a few blogs I love to read; I look forward when there is a new posting. I would really enjoy it if there was a new post every day on the blogs I follow.
So, who is going to join me?
data, data teams, data walls, teaching, classroom

Let me just see what I can do. I needed a personal project. Will there be themes or just regular blogging but doing it at least once a day for the month of December. OOOOOOO should we have a daily question to blog about?
ReplyDeleteEh, blogging for the sake of blogging is cool too.
Hey Sioux! I've got to beg off this one. I'm fresh off NaNo and have so many projects to catch up on...stuff I put on the back burner throughout November. Good luck to you!
ReplyDeleteThis is cool...hadn't heard of it before...and I used to blog just about every day, in fact, I think I did. BUT, since I'm desperately trying to write more often, I'll have to join Lisa in the beg-off! Good Luck to you, though, Sioux!!
ReplyDeleteSioux,
ReplyDeleteI try my best to post frequently. It is fun to read blogs. Several posts per day? I don't know anyone with that sort of time on their hands. Have agreat week. I'm counting down till 12/21
I wish I could! but will be swamped with work until December 10th... I don't think I can make the commitment if I will work late every day and EVEN next weekend (yes, I'm venting a little, sorry to use your space) - but looking fw to your daily posts! please make them funny - love your funny stories!
ReplyDeleteHey, Sioux, I was just telling Linda yesterday that I need to think about blogging more often--but to do that, I must start writing shorter and pick topics that don't require research (or much). Thinking about revamping the whole thing, because lately I'm so scattered that my blog should be titled, "Completely Off the Topic." I may give this some consideration..it would put me on the right track, anyway! Let's see, tomorrow is December 1st. I'll give it a go, but forgive me if I end up in the same boat you did with NanoWriMo (and probably a lot more quickly).
ReplyDeleteNice idea, but could you pick another month? Like, a summer one? For me this is NaNOTBloMo! But I'm excited to read yours!
ReplyDeleteI am trying to space mine to write daily, but hormones, room temperature, and inspiration all factor in. However, every day I think of you and about posting every day in December.
ReplyDeleteHow about giving us an idea a day calendar? LOL
