Microfiction Monday...Birds of a Feather
He stood and gazed at the birds. Were they birds that mated for life? Why did people insist on flying free, instead of being content to perch together forever?

What a great take on the photo prompt. So far I've been content to stay perched.
ReplyDeleteI am content with my mate, but I must admit, neither of us came "first". We're supposed to be the "evolved" species. It does make one wonder, doesn't it?

Good question. I'm a percher, myself (30 years and counting!) but I know a lot of people who can't make it stick. Too bad, because it is such a blessing!
