Slice of Life Day # 13: Naps
Naps are wasted on kids. It's the grownups who yearn for naps.
For me, there's something delicious about cuddling under some blankets, a book in hand, and drifting off to sleep... in the middle of the afternoon.

My Spring Break is coming up, and I'm planning on at least a couple of naps during the week.

Power naps. 20-30 minutes is enough to recharge my batteries. Any longer and I wake up kinda cranky. lol
ReplyDeleteYes, I dream about all forms of sleep.
ReplyDeleteyes, yes, and yes! Napping is my calendar for next week too :)
ReplyDeleteYes, but like Lisa, a power nap serves me better, otherwise I can snooze three hours on the couch in the evening and mess up my bedtime something awful. Enjoy spring break. I remember how wonderful that time was.
ReplyDeleteI don't have intentional naps. They kind of find me. In front of the computer, which is kind of awkward, and in front of the TV.

ReplyDeleteLisa--I wish I could sleep for such a brief time.
ReplyDeleteFatemeh--Me, too.
Tracy--Napping... while cuddling with a dog = heaven.
Linda--It's all in the timing. I can take a long nap, then stay up late as long as I have the next day off.
Val--Too often I could sing, "I fought the nap... and the nap won."
Pat--Perhaps you're not trying hard enough? ;)
